1. Introduction

Leet Brothers, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates EliteBrackets, an online pickleball tournament management platform (the "Platform"). We are organized in the United States with our principal place of business in Arizona.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use the Platform.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Personal Information

We may collect personal information that you provide directly to us, including:

• Name, email, and username
• Account credentials (securely stored)
• Profile information (profile picture, preferences)
• Tournament registration and participation data
• Communications and support inquiries

2.2 Payment Information

If you pay tournament entry fees through the Platform, we may store:

• Billing details (e.g., name, email, transaction records)
• Transaction history and receipts
• Refund status and processing records

We do not store full payment card numbers. Card data is collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe.

2.3 Automatically Collected Data

When you use the Platform, we automatically collect:

• IP address
• Device and browser information (type, operating system)
• Usage activity (pages viewed, features used, time spent)
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (primarily for authentication and session management)

2.4 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from:

• OAuth providers (Google, Apple, GitHub, Discord) when you choose to sign in via a third-party account — typically your name, email, and provider account ID
• Payment processors (e.g., Stripe) — limited transaction details such as confirmation status, last four digits of a card, and refund status
• Tournament directors and organizers who invite or register you for events

2.5 Phone Number and Text Message Consent

If you choose to receive text (SMS) alerts, we collect your mobile phone number and a record of your consent — the date and time you opted in, the version of the consent disclosure you agreed to, and the IP address the consent was submitted from. We also keep a log of the messages we send you and their delivery status.

Providing a phone number is entirely optional. See Section 14 for full details of our text message program, including how to opt out.

2.6 Optional Ratings Information

Players may optionally connect a DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) account to display verified skill ratings on their profile and qualify for rating-restricted divisions. If you connect DUPR, we store your DUPR player ID and ratings.

3. Payment Processing (Stripe)

We use Stripe, Inc. to process tournament entry-fee payments.

When you make a payment:

• Your card information is collected and processed directly by Stripe
• Stripe's use of your data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy
• We receive limited transaction details (e.g., confirmation, last 4 digits, status, refund state)

Tournament directors who collect entry fees through the Platform connect their own Stripe accounts via Stripe Connect. Stripe handles identity verification and onboarding for those accounts directly; we do not collect identity-verification documents ourselves.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the Platform
• Process tournament registrations and entry-fee payments
• Communicate with you about tournaments, registrations, and account activity
• Improve our services and user experience
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

5. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with:

• Tournament Directors — when you register for a tournament, we share your name, email address, date of birth, and gender with that tournament's director and the staff they authorize to manage registrations. Directors use this to verify division eligibility (age, gender, and skill brackets), to contact you about your schedule and matches, and to administer refunds. Staff whose role is limited to live-day operations — check-in, court management, and scoring — do not receive your contact details. Directors are independent controllers of this information and are bound by Section 7 of our Terms of Service, which restricts them to using it for running that tournament.
• Other participants — limited information (such as your name, team name, and match results) visible within tournaments you enter. Other participants are never shown your email address, phone number, or date of birth.
• Payment processors (Stripe) for processing entry fees and refunds
• OAuth providers when you sign in through them
• Email service providers (e.g., Resend) for sending transactional and tournament-related email
• Service providers that help us host and operate the Platform
• Legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights
• In a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition)
• With your consent when you explicitly agree to share information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Text message consent is never shared. No mobile information — including your phone number and your consent to receive text messages — is sold, rented, or shared with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are disclosed only to our messaging provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of delivering the messages you asked for, and only to the extent required to do so.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us (see Section 15).

We retain transaction and payment records for the period required by U.S. tax and financial-recordkeeping laws.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Card data is handled by Stripe under PCI-DSS controls; we do not store card numbers on our servers.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Restrict processing of your information
• Request data portability
• Opt out of certain communications

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies primarily to:

• Keep you signed in (authentication and session cookies)
• Remember your preferences

You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling authentication cookies will prevent you from signing in.

10. Third-Party Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as Stripe checkout pages or external tournament resources). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.

11. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

12. International Data Transfers

The Platform is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" above.

14. Text Message (SMS) Program

Program name: EliteBrackets Match Alerts

What we send. If you opt in, we send transactional text alerts about your participation in tournaments — court assignments, match and schedule changes, score confirmations, partner invitations, and urgent tournament updates. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

How you opt in. Text alerts are strictly opt-in. You provide your mobile number in your account settings, verify it with a one-time code, and separately check a box affirmatively agreeing to receive automated text messages. Consent is never pre-checked, is not a condition of registering for or purchasing entry to any tournament, and is never obtained from a third party.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your tournament activity. You will typically receive messages only on days you are competing.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for text alerts; your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.

How to opt out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving all text alerts. You will receive one confirmation message, and no further messages after that. You may also remove your phone number or turn off text alerts at any time in your account settings. Reply START to resubscribe.

How to get help. Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or email support@elitebrackets.com.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your data. Your phone number and consent record are used solely to deliver the alerts described above. As stated in Section 5, no mobile information is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. We retain your consent record for as long as you are subscribed and afterward as required to demonstrate compliance.
